Nikon Coolpix 950 Telescope Result - Sky glows

Before taking pictures on the deep sky objects, I did a series of test on various shutter speed and the sensitives. At the Program setting, one second is the longest exposure time the camera will go. Can't see any stars at all.
Exposure Mode: Program Metering: Center Weighted
Shutter: 1 sec Exposure: F2.6
Focal Length: 7.2 mm Focus: INF
Exp +/-: 0.0 Sensitive: default
Increase the sensitivity to +2.0, about ISO 320, still no stars in sight. However, the sky-glow and the cloud started to become visible.
Exposure Mode: Program Metering: Center Weighted
Shutter: 1 sec Exposure: F2.6
Focal Length: 7.2 mm Focus: INF
Exp +/-: 0.0 Sensitive: +2.0
Let's try the longest exposure time and the maximum sensitivity and see what the camera can capture.

Bright sky and everything else but stars... I guess I can forget about taking picture of stars using just with the camera itself.

Exposure Mode: Aperture Priority Metering: Center Weighted
Shutter: 8 sec Exposure: F2.6
Focal Length: 7.2 mm Focus: INF
Exp +/-: 0.0 Sensitive: +2.0
Since I can't take star pictures, let's decrease the sensitivity and take some landscape picture.
Exposure Mode: Aperture Priority Metering: Center Weighted
Shutter: 8 sec Exposure: F2.6
Focal Length: 7.2 mm Focus: INF
Exp +/-: 0.0 Sensitive: default
8 second exposure is still too bright for landscape. 5 seconds looks a lot better.
Exposure Mode: Aperture Priority Metering: Center Weighted
Shutter: 5 sec Exposure: F2.6
Focal Length: 7.2 mm Focus: INF
Exp +/-: 0.0 Sensitive: default
